Mrs. Quanstrom’s third grade class took a field trip Bureau Valley Walnut to meet their pen pals from this year!
In collaboration with BV teachers, Mr. DeMay and Mrs. Krug, students engaged in pen pal writing to focus on building relationships, friendly letter writing, and effective communication skills!
Students wrote back and forth all year, and they were finally able to meet each other through this fun field trip! Students worked on speaking and listening skills and enjoyed the morning together. What an amazing opportunity!
